Realtime State

Sync backend changes to connected clients in realtime. Keep your database authoritative and give each client a current view of application state.

State carries changes from your backend to your clients

Your backend makes the decision and updates its authoritative data. Lynta State makes that change available to connected clients so an application can reflect it as it happens.

Examples include an order status, a live score, shared inventory, a job status, or the latest result from an agent task.

Keep ownership in your application

  1. 01 / BACKENDYour service changes the authoritative application data.
  2. 02 / LYNTA STATEThe change is synced to connected clients.
  3. 03 / CLIENTSEach client can show the current application state.

Lynta is not a replacement database and does not take ownership of your source of truth.

Show the state of agent work

An application can use State to keep a task status, visible progress, or latest result current for connected clients. Your backend still runs the agent and decides what information to publish.

Use Tasks when people or agents need to coordinate around a live unit of work, and Channels when you need to send ephemeral events.
