# Lynta frequently asked questions

## What does Lynta do?

Lynta provides realtime infrastructure for applications and AI agent workflows. State syncs backend-owned changes to connected clients, Channels carry ephemeral events, and Tasks make live work visible. Your backend and database remain authoritative.

## Does Lynta run AI agents or replace my database?

No. Your application backend remains responsible for authorization, durable data, business rules, and running agents. Lynta provides realtime delivery and coordination around that system.

## Does Lynta publish a customer API, SDK, or MCP server?

The public site does not currently publish a customer-facing product API reference, product OpenAPI contract, SDK package, authentication flow, sandbox, or product-action MCP server. Request integration details through the [early access form](https://tally.so/r/jaOogE). The site's `/ask` endpoint and `/mcp` service only search or fetch public documentation.

## What are the public prices?

Free is $0 forever. Launch is $29 monthly or $25 per month equivalent billed annually. Scale is $149 monthly or $127 per month equivalent billed annually. Enterprise pricing is not published. See the [full pricing and limits](https://lyntahq.com/pricing.md).

## How are realtime events billed?

One publish counts as one event regardless of subscriber count. The maximum payload limit applies to one serialized publish.

## How can I search public information about Lynta?

Send a natural-language query to `POST https://lyntahq.com/ask` using the [OpenAPI contract](https://lyntahq.com/openapi.json). The endpoint searches public pages and returns source links; it cannot access customer projects or operate the Lynta product.
